The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of work life balance on job satisfaction of D1-D3 midwife medical personnel working at Arifin Ahmad Hospital, Riau Province with work engagement as a mediating variable. The population in this study were all D1-D3 midwife medical personnel working at Arifin Ahmad Hospital, Riau Province with a sample of 140 respondents, where sampling was carried out using a census technique. The data collection technique used a questionnaire and distribution using a google form. The data analysis technique in this study is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using SmartPLS 3.0 as a data processing tool. The results of this study indicate that Work life balance and Work engagement have a significant direct effect on Job Satisfaction of D1-D3 Medical Personnel midwives working at Arifin Ahmad Hospital, Riau Province. Work life balance has a significant direct effect on Work engagement of D1-D3 Medical Personnel midwives working at Arifin Ahmad Hospital, Riau Province and Work engagement is able to mediate the relationship between Work life balance and Employee Job Satisfaction of D1-D3 Medical Personnel midwives working at Arifin Ahmad Hospital, Riau Province.
