Implementasi Kebijakan Pemerintah dalam Pengelolaan Sampah di Kawasan UMKM di Gedung Juang Kabupaten Pandeglang

Waste management in the micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) area is an environmental issue that has not been fully addressed optimally by the local government, particularly in the Gedung Juang MSME area of Pandeglang Regency. This study aims to analyze the implementation of government policies on waste management and identify supporting and inhibiting factors for its implementation. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of waste management policies in the Gedung Juang MSME area has not been running effectively. The main obstacles include weak coordination between agencies, limited infrastructure, and low participation of MSME actors. This study provides a theoretical contribution to the development of studies on the implementation of public policies based on community participation and government ecology. Practically, the results of the study are expected to be a consideration for local governments in formulating more sustainable waste management policies. The limitations of this study lie in the limited location coverage, so further studies are needed with a wider area and method.
