Telaah Sistem Informasi Keuangan Berbasis Web di Gereja Eklesia Simpang Raya

This study aims to examine the development of a web-based financial information system at the Eklesia Church as a response to the problem of limited manual recording that risks causing inaccuracy, late reporting, and low financial transparency. This is due to the practical needs of the Eklesia Church to improve the effectiveness, accuracy, and accountability in managing financial reports. The study uses a simplified Research and Development (R&D) approach, with stages of preliminary study, system design, prototyping, and testing through alpha and beta tests. This study found that the web-based financial information system developed is able to present financial data in real-time, accelerate the reporting process, improve recording accuracy, and support transparency and operational efficiency in the Eklesia Church environment. The theoretical contribution of this study lies in the application of the information system development model in the context of a religious-based community organization, which has previously been minimally explored.
